Warehouse specialist Receiving Terminal (Kıyıköy, Turkey)

Introduction

We are looking to recruit a Warehouse specialist who will be responsible for all warehouse spaces and activities, including but not limited to receipt and issue of inventories as well as to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with established procedures and protocols. In addition, you will be responsible for all inventory, all warehouse discrepancies, quality, completeness of inventories, availability of technical passports and quality certificates. Furthermore, you will support the proper management of the warehouse. Therefore, proven knowledge on labour protection and industrial safety is required.

You will be based in our Receiving Terminal in Kiyiköy and report directly to the Head of warehouse Turkey branch Receiving terminal. You will be working in compliance with Turkish legislation and resolutions of the Turkish government, orders and instructions of Head of Warehouse and Chief Engineer, Company’s standards and policies.


Organization

As a subsidiary of PAO Gazprom, South Stream Transport B.V. is responsible for a safe, reliable and uninterrupted operation of the TurkStream Pipeline system.

The TurkStream Offshore Pipeline starts in Anapa, Russia, running over 900 kilometers through the Black Sea to the Turkish coast. The pipeline will help secure energy supplies to Turkey and South-Eastern Europe in a reliable and sustainable way. We have used state-of-the-art technology, materials and equipment, to safeguard the pipeline’s safe operation for many decades to come.

Function

  • Carry out functions on storage; receipt and issue of inventories (PPE, fuel, raw materials, fuels and lubricants, solid, liquid and bulk materials, devices, parts, tools, property of civil defence, and other things ) with rational use of warehouse spaces;
  • Comply with the procedures and able to prepare and develop policies related to warehouse, acceptance and issuance of tangible assets;
  • Monitor the quality, completeness of inventories, availability of technical passports and quality certificates;
  • Manage loading-unloading operations and placement of goods inside the warehouse premises and open storage areas;
  • Ensure safety of material inventory as well as arranges inventories and takes part in audits; 
  • Maintain records, prepares and submits reports on goods movement and stock balances;
  • Organize collection, storage and timely return to suppliers of recycled containers;
  • Make records and transactions in CMMS, MM module- material management module;
  • Perform warehouse operations in accordance with Policy on goods receipt, issue and storage;
  • Fulfil additional assignments of Head of Warehouse and Chief engineer;
  • Participate in the development of Company long-term plans; 
  • Be responsible for branch property, takes measures to prevent damage and loss. 

In the field of labour protection, industrial and fire safety, labour and production discipline:

  • Comply with the requirements of normative legal acts and regulatory technical documents on labour protection and fire safety, sanitary norms and rules;
  • Apply the established modes of work providing the maximum permissible levels of impact on the environment;
  • Provide in a timely manner reliable information about emergencies and take measures to eliminate their consequences;
  • Assist in handling all types of waste in accordance with environmental requirements;
  • Has awareness of health and safety procedures; actively participate in solving problems and continually improving HSSE;        
  • Develop and improve instructions, procedures and regulations for goods movement and storage;
  • Facilitate in improving of interaction between Warehouse services and the Security services of the Branch;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree; 
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the field of warehouse and procurement, as well as in the oil and gas industries (as a specialist);
  • Knowledge of legislation, organisational and administrative documents of higher organisations relating to the organisation and warehouse management;
  • Experience with organisation and technology of warehouse facilities; accounting of inventory items of an integrated enterprise management system;
  • Experience with inspection methods of working tools, devices for their suitability and operational status;
  • Experience with device packaging and methods of securing transported goods;
  • Familiar with application of warehouse measuring tools, devices and mechanisms and making inventory;
  • Familiarity with Turkish HSSE legislation, standards and internal requirements; 
  • Knowledge of rules of internal labour schedule and fundamentals of the Turkish labour code;
  • Knowledge of norms of labour culture and professional ethics;
  • Confident PC user, advanced user of MS Office;
  • Fluency in English (advanced level) and Turkey (native), Russian language as advantage.
