Technical Clerk (Amsterdam)


We are recruiting for a Technical Clerk who will be supporting our Above Ground Installation Construction Department. You shall provide general administrative to the team to allow a more efficient use of the overall resources. This role offers you the opportunity to be part of a truly international organization. Please be informed that this position is a temporary position and will be payrolled via a Third party organisation.


As a subsidiary of PAO Gazprom, South Stream Transport B.V. is responsible for a safe, reliable and uninterrupted operation of the TurkStream Pipeline system.

The TurkStream Offshore Pipeline starts in Anapa, Russia, running over 900 kilometres through the Black Sea to the Turkish coast. The pipeline will help secure energy supplies to Turkey and South-Eastern Europe in a reliable and sustainable way. We have used state-of-the-art technology, materials and equipment, to safeguard the pipeline’s safe operation for many decades to come.


  • General administrative and clerical duties (as per team requirements);
  • Taking care of Business trip requests (BTMS);
  • Arrange and coordinate business travels;
  • Assist in organization of meetings with regard to invitations, meeting rooms, IT, catering etc.;
  • Maintain schedule of team meetings and activities – internal and external;
  • Support in the on- and offboarding of consultants;
  • Keep track of the sign-off process of formal documents and approval forms;
  • Providing back-up cover for other assistants during holidays/sick leaves;
  • Identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor Degree or BA in business administration, management or commercial;
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience as an assistant;
  • Proficiency in general IT and relevant software applications: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills in order to deal tactfully and effectively with
  • internal/external contacts at all levels;
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to prioritize and coordinate work distribution;
  • Strong sense for confidentiality;
  • Diligent attention to detail;
  • Enthusiastic and energetic;
  • Fluent in English and Dutch both spoken and written;
  • Fluent in Russian or Turkish would be an asset;
  • Devoted team player and service oriented.
