Head of Warehouse Receiving Terminal (Kıyıköy)


We are looking for a Head of Warehouse to join our team in Receiving Terminal, Kıyıköy. In this role, you will be responsible for all warehouse spaces and activities, including but not limited to receipt and issue of inventories as well as to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with established procedures and protocols. You will be fully responsible for all inventory, all warehouse discrepancies, quality, completeness of inventories, availability of technical passports and quality certificates. Also, you will have functional responsibility for the proper management of the warehouse.

In this function, you will report directly to Chief Engineer/Deputy Head of Branch Receiving Terminal. After appointment to the position, within a monthly period, you must pass a test of knowledge on labor protection and industrial safety provided by the Commission. You will be guided by the existing legislation of the TR, resolutions of TR government, orders and instructions of Chief Engineer/Deputy Head of Branch Receiving Terminal, as well as Company’s standards and policies.


As a subsidiary of PAO Gazprom, South Stream Transport B.V. is responsible for the construction and operation of the TurkStream Offshore Pipeline.

The TurkStream Offshore Pipeline will start in Anapa, Russia, running over 900 kilometers through the Black Sea to the Turkish coast. The pipeline will help secure energy supplies to Turkey and South-Eastern Europe in a reliable and sustainable way. The Project will use state-of-the-art technology, materials and equipment, to safeguard the pipeline’s safe operation for many decades to come.


  • Carry out functions on storage; receipt and issue of inventories (PPE, fuel, raw materials, fuels and lubricants, solid, liquid and bulk materials, devices, parts, tools, property of civil defense, and other things ) with rational use of warehouse spaces;
  • Comply with the procedures and able to prepare and develop policies related to warehouse, acceptance and issuance of tangible assets;
  • Monitor the quality, completeness of inventories, availability of technical passports and quality certificates;
  • Supervise loading-unloading operations and placement of goods inside the warehouse premises and open storage areas;
  • Ensure safety of material inventory as well as arranges inventories and takes part in audits; 
  • Maintain records, prepares and submits reports on goods movement and stock balances;
  • Organize collection, storage and timely return to suppliers of recycled containers;
  • Make records and transactions in CMMS, MM module- material management module;
  • Perform warehouse operations in accordance with Policy on goods receipt, issue and storage;
  • Fulfill additional assignments of Chief Engineer/Deputy Head of Branch Receiving Terminal;
  • Participate in the development of Company long-term plans; 
  • Take care of branch property, takes measures to prevent damage and loss; 
  • Build relationships with colleagues on a friendly basis, providing them with support and assistance; 
  • In the field of labour protection, industrial and fire safety, labour and production discipline;
  • Comply with the requirements of normative legal acts and regulatory technical documents on labour protection and fire safety, sanitary norms and rules;
  • To apply the established modes of work providing the maximum permissible levels of impact on the environment;
  • Provide in a timely manner reliable information about emergencies and take measures to eliminate their consequences.
  • Assist in handling all types of waste in accordance with environmental requirements, excluding excess accumulation, as well as pollution of natural environment;
  • Take part in the activities on civil defense and assistance in solving problems of civil defense;         
  • Develop and improve instructions, procedures and regulations for goods movement and storage;
  • Facilitate in improving of interaction between Warehouse services and the Security services of the Branch;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor or Master degree;
  • At least 10 years’ experience in the field of warehouse, as well as in the oil and gas industries (as a manager/specialist);
  • Knowledge of legislation, organizational and administrative documents of higher organizations relating to the organization and warehouse management;
  • Experience with organization and technology of warehouse facilities; accounting of inventory items of an integrated enterprise management system;
  • Experience with inspection methods of working tools, devices for their suitability and operational status;
  • Experience with device packaging and methods of securing transported goods;
  • Familiar with application of warehouse measuring tools, devices and mechanisms and making Inventory;
  • Familiar with Turkish HSSE legislation, standards and internal requirements; 
  • Knowledge of rules of internal labor schedule and fundamentals of the Turkish labor code;
  • Knowledge of norms of labor culture and professional ethics;
  • Confident PC user, advanced user of MS Office;
  • Fluency in English (advanced level) and Turkey (native), Russian language as advantage.
