IT Specialist Turkey (Istanbul/Kiyikoy)

Introduction

For this prestigious project we are recruiting for an IT Specialist Turkey. You will provide IT support services to the SSTTBV Turkish branch in close relation with IT Department in Amsterdam. You will administratively report to the Head of Branch Turkey and functionally to the IT Department headquatered in Amsterdam. The position is based in our Turkish branch in Istanbul. Depending on the project phase, you will be required to work several days per week in the receiving terminal facility (Kiyikoy), warehouses (Kiyikoy) and occasional in marshalling yards. Occasional travel to head office in Amsterdam might be required, as well as readiness to occasional off hour work or standby.

Organization

As a subsidiary of PAO Gazprom, South Stream Transport B.V. is responsible for the construction of the TurkStream Offshore Pipeline.

The TurkStream Offshore Pipeline will start in Anapa, Russia, running over 900 kilometres through the Black Sea to the Turkish coast. The pipeline will help secure energy supplies to Turkey and South-Eastern Europe in a reliable and sustainable way. The Project will use state-of-the-art technology, materials and equipment, to safeguard the pipeline’s safe operation for many decades to come.


Function

  • Local help desk tasks – IT support to all SSTTBV users in Turkey;
  • Maintain all SSTTBV IT equipment in the branch offices including but not limited to receiving terminal in Kiyikoy, temporary project offices in Kiyikoy, warehouses, branch offices in Istanbul;
  • Prepare IT equipment for branch users, perform user introduction training;
  • Taking care of user IT equipment, managing stock, setup computers from image, configure user profiles and install and configure software according to IT procedures;
  • Installation of local IT equipment (Hardware) as needed;
  • Printer management (e.g. Toners replacement and printer check);
  • Setup IT equipment for new users, replacing current IT equipment;
  • Support video conference meetings and meeting room equipment (skype for business, online conferencing services);
  • Communication/management of Telecom providers (Internet, Mobile, Landlines), cost monitoring;Order local IT Equipment (Hardware) and manage hardware suppliers;
  • Communication with Help desk and IT management in Amsterdam on daily basis;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Information Technology;
  • 3 years + experience in IT Service Support;
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016 professional, Skype for Business;
  • 3 years + experience with video conferencing, printing and telecommunication support;
  • Fluent in English both written and oral;
  • At least 2 years work experience in an international, multi-cultural environment;
  • Strong communicator with excellent soft skills to communicate with branch staff as well as head office;
  • Capability to work in a matrix organization and self-organized work in virtual team.
