HR Advisor Turkey (Istanbul)

Introduction

For this prestigious project we are recruiting a HR Advisor Turkey. You will provide full HR Business support to our Turkish branch. As a proactive HR professional, you will support on all aspects of HR in Turkey including Recruitment, HR administrative matters, and Employment Law, enabling and assisting the business to achieve their objectives and develop their employees. You will be passionate about HR, and keen to demonstrate your exceptional skills, particularly in the areas of recruitment and employee engagement. You will have experience of providing full HR support to Managers. In addition, you will be responsible for any administration relating to the branch, which includes advising payroll of any updates. You will be based in Istanbul and work remotely with the HR team headquartered in Amsterdam.

Organization

As a subsidiary of PAO Gazprom, South Stream Transport B.V. is responsible for the construction of the TurkStream Offshore Pipeline.

The TurkStream Offshore Pipeline will start in Anapa, Russia, running over 900 kilometres through the Black Sea to the Turkish coast. The pipeline will help secure energy supplies to Turkey and South-Eastern Europe in a reliable and sustainable way. The Project will use state-of-the-art technology, materials and equipment, to safeguard the pipeline’s safe operation for many decades to come.

Function

  • Focal point for all local HR questions from management, Turkish branch employees and employees seconded from our mother company. You will answer inquiries from employees in an accurate and timely manner and forward to the HR Team based in Amsterdam as necessary;
  • Accountability for the full recruitment cycle of Turkish branch vacancies, from sourcing the best talent, CV, conduct interviews and coordinate the interview selection process;
  • Administer HR related documentation, such as offer letters, contracts, leavers, promotions
  • Monitor and advise on changing Turkish Labour law and SSI regulations;
  • Provide support to the Head of HR in legal issues, including individual/collective terminations;
  • Work with the HR team based in Amsterdam to support internal movement of colleagues, including transfers/relocations;
  • Prepare the Turkish payroll and work closely with the Senior International Payroll Specialist to insure a smooth and compliant payroll process;
  • Conduct exit interviews and work closely with HR Partners and managers to identify and correct high turnover situations as required.HR
  • Compliance/Audit Officer;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent;
  • Required experience of 4-7 years in a general HR position in a commercial business environment, involving recruitment, HR administration, legal issues and management information;
  • Polished approach to HR, demonstrating strong interpersonal & engagement skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Turkish labour law;
  • Excellent communication skills: able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Result driven, but eager to execute with precision;
  • Turkish nationality, fluent in English. Russian language proficiency is considered as an asset;
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office;
  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of the team;
  • Able to work in a multi-cultural and fast paced environment.
