CSR Expert Turkey (Kiyikoy, Turkey)


For this prestigious project we are recruiting for a CSR Expert Turkey. You shall ensure that the Project is developed in compliance with the social standards and requirements defined in Company’s permits, policies and procedures, and by Turkish legislation. You will administratively report to the Head of Branch and functionally will report to the Senior CSR & Stakeholder Engagement Expert.


As a subsidiary of PAO Gazprom, South Stream Transport B.V. is responsible for the construction of the TurkStream Offshore Pipeline.

The TurkStream Offshore Pipeline will start in Anapa, Russia, running over 900 kilometres through the Black Sea to the Turkish coast. The pipeline will help secure energy supplies to Turkey and South-Eastern Europe in a reliable and sustainable way. The Project will use state-of-the-art technology, materials and equipment, to safeguard the pipeline’s safe operation for many decades to come.


  • Provide support on all socioeconomic activities in Turkey;
  • Coordination of social monitoring activities in Turkey. Support in management of social monitoring contractor;
  • Supervision of the implementation of socioeconomic mitigation measures as per EIA/ESIA, Construction Management Plans, lenders and statutory requirements;
  • Interface with the construction contractors regarding social matters pertaining to monitoring and implementation of social management/mitigation measures;
  • Liaison with Turkish authorities, administration, organisations, lenders;
  • Support in stakeholder engagement activities related to socioeconomic issues;
  • Support in preparation, implementation and monitoring of the Community Investment Programme;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


  • University degree;
  • 6-8 years' experience in oil & gas infrastructure projects;
  • Excellent Team player and flexible;
  • Self-starter, motivated, strong inter-personal and communication skills;
  • Good coordination, organizational and project management skills;
  • Ability to work independently and show good judgement;
  • Experience of management of construction contractors in relation to social and labour issues;
  • Ability to work in an international, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team;
  • Deadline driven and high level of accuracy;
  • Fluent in Turkish and English (written and spoken) is required;
  • Knowledge of International/IFC Performance Standards and familiarisation of application of aspects of IFC Labour and Community PS preferable;
  • Knowledge of Turkish labour law preferable.
