Team Assistant Technical (Amsterdam)


For this prestigious project we are recruiting for a Team Assistant Technical who will provide general administrative support to multiple Technical Sub Departments. You will be working in multi-cultural teams in a dynamic and truly international and dynamic working environment. Our office is based in Amsterdam (Zuid as).


As a subsidiary of PAO Gazprom, South Stream Transport B.V. is responsible for the construction of the TurkStream Offshore Pipeline.

The TurkStream Offshore Pipeline will start in Anapa, Russia, running over 900 kilometres through the Black Sea to the Turkish coast. The pipeline will help secure energy supplies to Turkey and South-Eastern Europe in a reliable and sustainable way. The Project will use state-of-the-art technology, materials and equipment, to safeguard the pipeline’s safe operation for many decades to come.


  • Prepare and attend internal meetings/workshops, prepare minutes of meetings and follow up of agreed action points;
  • Assist in organization of meetings with regard to invitations, meeting rooms, IT, catering etc.;
  • Maintain schedule of team meetings and activities – internal and external;
  • Maintain vacation and leave calendar of team members;
  • Business trips management;
  • Checking the accuracy of the invoices and approving/forwarding/cancelling electronic invoices in the financial system Basware;
  • Taking care of Business trip requests (BTMS), prepare travel expense claims and travel reports (only for managers, if requested);
  • Management of incoming and outgoing correspondence using Document Management System (DMS);
  • Support in the preparation and formatting of bilingual letters, reports and presentations;
  • Translate/arrange the translation of emails/letters/documents through in-house service and outsourcing;
  • General administrative and clerical duties (as per team requirements);
  • Training newly hired team assistants;
  • Providing back-up cover for other assistants during holidays/sick leaves.


  • Bachelor education;
  • At least 3 years work experience as Team Assistant in a similar role within an international project, preferably in the gas/oil/offshore sector;
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures;
  • Familiar with most common technical terms (capable of understanding the meaning of project/technical team related terminology and the general topics of a technical discussion, the ability to write minutes when attending a meeting);
  • General computer proficiency and good knowledge of relevant software programs and applications: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook);
  • Excellent English, Russian and Dutch languages skills. In addition, Turkish would be preferred;
  • Friendly, team oriented and service minded;
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Highly organized and punctual, capable of multitasking. Team player. Able to work under pressure;
  • Currently residing in the Netherlands.
